But what Asha solos from Muqaddar? I do not have any songs and the VN book does not list them. SB, Geetkosh kya kehta hai?

Here is aati hai yaad.... Par yeh to April hai!!!

BTW yeh gaana maine nahin ul kiya tha. This I got from the KK forum on HF. I uled baulama and ek do teen char. Why did Asha sing in this dour voice in this film?

There are no Asha solos in "Muqaddar" (1950) at least not in the Geetkosh. The Asha songs are:

1. Baulama baulama baulama hai diya diya diya tujhko dil (Asha/Kishore) - Music by James Singh
2. Aati hai yaad humko (Asha/Kishore) - Music by Khemchand Prakash/Bhola SreshTa
3. Ek do teen chaar baagoN me aayi bahaar (Asha/Kishore) - Music by James Singh
4. Madhur pyaar ka taar kabhi yeh TooTe na (Asha/Arun Kumar) - Music by James Singh
5. Jo karna ... ghar ke maalik ghar nahi (Asha/Kishore/Arun Kumar) - Music by KP-BS-JS

And Priya, I don't think you have uploaded Baulama. I don't have the song.

I did ul baulama with sincere apologies for quality. Rom wanted it and ekdo teen char. Rare songs thread par ul kiya hoga. U must have been in India.

My fav in the film is madhur pyaar ka taar. Love it.
Will ul baulama for U. Not a great song.

Don't post it right away. Let me check my other computer and see if I have it
there. It was the laptop I took with me to India.

Will ul the madhur pyaar ka song. Very nice number, best in the film. Believe it was a radio hit list topper for quite a long while.

The AB one says Khemchand Prakash and Bhola Sreshtha.

Yes that is right in Vishwas ji's book it only points to KP. I didnt check the AB book re!
