Making a request for info and possible song if anyone has it. They used to play it on the local radio when I was little all the time by farmaish for bdays, just remembered it today. Badhai Ho Badhai Janam Din (something something something), Janam Din Tumhaara, Milenge Ladoo Humko................goes on later Shaadhi Hogi Tumhari, Milenge Ladoo Humko, that's all I remember.......I searched and all I can deduce that its either from Ram Aur Shyam or Mere Munna, but the song is not available in the iTunes store, nor HamaraCD. It's probably a female voice for child. Any info or the song would be extremely appreciated, thanks.

It's Badhai Ho Badhai Janam Din Ki Tumko. The Film is Mera Munna. Lata ji ne gaaya hain. Now this is where the fun begins. Ultraindia tells me the year is 1948 and MD is C. Ramchandra. They don't know the lyricist. Earth music tells me the MD is Kalyanji Anandji and the Lyricist Indeevar. If so, somehow I have inferred the year is 1967. I have it 3:19 @ 128. Haven't herad it recently, but have marked it ok (which means not great either!). So there you have it, entire janam kundali. Let's wait for BJ to conjure up a good version, else mere paas hain courtesy Sani bow.gif

Thanks for your prompt and thorough response. I have lots of patience, will wait. smile1.gif When I saw that Mere Munna was at 1948, I was leaning more towards Ram aur Shyam simply because of the 60s, because from my vague memory, it doesn't seem ke 40's ka gaana hoga.
