Even the background score in the AB,Vinod Khanna-starrer Hera Pheri(1976) is phenomenal..K-A hav done a real good job there..

If u get a chance, do listen to it carefully... it is a real gem & i hav a feeling its second to none but as the movie did not do well at the B.O. and also the fact that K-A were themselves quite underrated that its not that popular & people don't really recall it.

But nothing to take away from K-A..master innovators & specialists at background score & thrill effects..

I can recall vividly in Don,when AB gets out of the hospital room shocked to learn that the DSP(Iftikhar) has passed away & only he knew about the real identity of Don that the signature background theme plays & captivates the viewer..

Truly a masterpiece..
