I have sohne di tavitiri--Tarannum version. I think Inaam also uled a film version? Or maybe I am confused. Gayegi duniya donon versions hai. If no one uls I will when I am back home after 28th.

Priya! Geo is a very popular Pakistani TV Channel. They presented a very good documentary "Noor-e-Jehan" and a beautiful and long tribute show "Sada hoon apne pyaar ki" (What a co incident na ) last night. I was busy with our show on HF Radio, VCR ko recording per laga diya tha lekin baad mein pata chala ke VCR was out of order .

Beside Geo, PTV also paid a very very rich tribute to Madam on her Death Anniversary. The whole day, they were playing Madam's songs from Tarannum. They also telecast some old tribute shows about Madam like “Khiraj-e-Tehseen” (A wonderful documentary/tribute show about Madam I have ever seen), and ‘Dunya Meri Jawan Hai’ (another wonderful tribute show).

The news of Madam’s death anniversary was included in the news bulletins of almost every Pakistani TV channel.



There is only one version of 'Sone di taveetri'. (The same film version was used in Tarannunm)
I don't like the Tarannum version of 'Gayegi dunia geet mere', I am sure Akhtar ko bhi pasand nahiin aaey ga, so upload the film version.

I had forgotten about this thread. Songs ke liye thoda push karo yaar. Aur bhi dukh hai zamane mein Akhtar ke songs ke siva.
