Yes, me had a great time. Best was the food. Got back my lost kilos!!!!

Gifts bahut mile. Wanted Dad to buy me a pair of jeans. Got pure black corduroy (is that how U spell the thing?? ) ones. Mom's gifts were surprise ones. An ikkat (I am just mad about ikkat and sambhalpur fabrics) dress material for a salwar kameez top and a dupatta that I was hunting for to mix n match with another set. Also 3 wooden cats she picked up from a handicrafts exhibition. And a Revlon nail polish!!!!

Apart from the gifts brought back a ton of books from my Mom's ever increasing library. I was starved of reading out here. One is a Readers' Digest book of ghost stories!!!

Well no we don't celebrate Christmas, but we do put up lights and a small tree - however Vinz's got lazy the last two years. Though desis who have young kids do get caught up in the Christmas spirit. When in Rome...!!! The kids get caught up in the fervor of American holidays na, so parents go along willy nilly... which is good, eventually everyone's gonna melt in the melting pot.

No gifts, but shopping because of the sales!!
