The show's called 'Mike Testing'!

Like they check the mike before making annoncements... 1, 2, 3, hello hello hello... that way. This guy interviews celebrities on the show, and plays their favourite songs.
There's no 'enough' when it comes to qualitative analysis. Nothing's good enough, nothing's bad enough.

I can't say boo to a cow, how can I say boo to an Admin!

I was in Blore na (being wined and dined by admins and gentleman

) -- paraye mulk mein dl karne se kya faida. Ab ghar aa gayi hoon so will dl it and listen.

PS: U say moo to cows and boo to geese I believe.

AB is very nice in that interview... and funny too. But don't like the interviewer. He's a regular giggler.

Actually there was a lady too. The very charming Shweta. PP and Shweta make such a nice couple!!!!

Sorry to drive a wedge into your playful banter folks, but i think i should get this thread back on topic.

Did anyone notice how Asha seems to be a lot more relaxed and natural during this interview than any I have heard in a long time?

For once I actually got some insights into her mindset: She uses Gangubai's example to tell herself she has a lot of mileage left inside her... Her daughter's opinion means the most to her.... She is quick to dismiss any hints of a relationship with OPN... She is incredibly young at heart.... She knows her position in the industry and shows no fake "humility" which characterizes so many Indian bignames.

All in all, a great interview.

True, BTB! Ab is very relaxed all through this chat, and is always ready to laugh and joke. Perhaps it's due to the fun format of the program, where as a joke all guests test the mike by saying "1 2 3, 1 2 3... hello hello... mike testing".
Yes, isn't she very much affected by her daughter's opinion?! And perhaps there's a fear of not performing to her expectations...

In last 2 days I'm just hooked to the Asha Tai's life!! Just yesterday I read more about her in the foll. link:

I'm v glad to hear her interview! The most I liked is her statement that if a person can sing, age is not the bar, he can sing good at any age! It couldn't have come to me at any better time when I'm planning to seriously jump into a my new singing Career!!

Also glad that she likes Kishoreda's song "O mere Dil ke chain..."

Oh... I forgot that I had removed the songs from the progam!
The last song she played on this program was something calleed Lucky Lips... so I only meant that it couldn't really have been a favourite of hers... And that she played it to promote this current times song...

Yes, that girl with Sallu bhai... Have seen promos, and thought that girl looked sweet. No wonder that she was compared to the beautiful AR, universally acknowleged as one of the most beautiful women in the world.

Rom, Lucky Lips actually is very catchy. May not be an alltime fav of Asha's but I am sure it is one of the nice new numbers she has done. Quite possible she is fond of it. I certainly am, unlike some of her 90s numbers.

Well, I now believe that it wasn't Lucky Lips that she played at the end... it was some song from a current or a forthcoming movie... And it certainly wasn't a great or even a nice song to my poor ears, used more to songs like Kabhi Kabhi Sapna Lagta Hei, Meri Baat Rahi Merey Mann Mein, Chein Se Humko Kabhi, Koi Shikwa Bhi Nahin etc, to name a just a few.
