On Shuklas' request, here are the Lata solos from the film "Durgesh Nandini". I spent years hunting for these songs before finally discovering the film on VCD. The sound quality is not great, but the songs are!
The four Lata solos are:
- kahaa.N le chale ho bataa do musaafir (the film version has a prelude and 3 stanzas)
- cha.ndan kii naiyaa pe hoke savaar gorii (with chorus)
- merii majabuuriyo.n pe jahaa.N chup rahaa
- chaa.Nd nikalegaa jidhar ham na udhar dekhe.nge
There is also a holi song by Lata, Hemant Kumar, and chorus - am uploading that separately in this thread.
