A humble suggestion though. You could possibly open / move the thread to Chit-o-chat section (Mandrake already has a photos thread running ------ "A Few Thousand Words..., share pix that you've shot" ). Probably we could expect more participation there ?

As I said, this is a photo I had snapped. so its not me. and its not really much of a daring-do. (Now people rappeling down on the konkan kada, that is dare-deviling

But in those days, it was difficult to procure a camera, so nobody was into photography, it wasnt necessarily a good camera, we didnt really know how to compose the photo. but still its a wonderful memory for me.

Also, chit-chat may generate more responses, but I intended this to be more of a discussion about treks that all of us have done. Most Bombay/pune/maharashtrian folks that liked to do trekking would have visited harishchandragad, bhiimashankar, vasoTa, rajgaD, pratapgaD and even Dhaak chaa bahiri.

So I kept it here. If all participants want to move it to chit chat, so be it.
