She was around 12 years old i think, when she sang this one. Earlier when she was around 10, she sang in Hai na bolo bolo with Mohd Rafi and Suman Kalyanpur

She was the daughter of Bhola Shreshtha - an arranger /composer - who worked with some music directors in the 50s and who, if i remember correctly, used to escort Lata Mangeshkar home when it was late in the night, during her early days.

In the 90s, Sushma Shreshta became Poornima - to get away from the 'child singer' tag

I assume, due to Rafi's kind heart for all beings & utmost simplicity he was fully blessed by God by countless hands OTHERWISE how could, out of nowhere, suddenly sunami flows out of Rafi's throat & washed away, leaving blank-mind & water in listner's eyes.

I just envy the grand-luck of instrument-playing musicians accompanying Rafi during performing of song recording. I am sure, after each performance, all would have stands-up with 'blank-mind(forgetting about clapping) & watery eyes'.
