If 3:00 GMT and 8:30 IST, it should be 10 pm EST, but Khobi comes on at 11 pm EST... so something is wrong somewhere...

The timing is correct Khobi, but since 2 days I have not been able to play the show. Sorry about it... mein late lateef ban gaya hun. On Tuesday I reached home at 23:15 and last night at 23:00

The schedule ticker / marquee is not scrolling on firefox. It works fine in IE

The marquee requires some scripting.. probably something of ff not installed properly Is the marquee java based stuff Pradeep??

No idea.. Amita ji. Does not work for me either . I've tested a sep page with marquee.. where it scrolls without any problem. So its not that firefox does not support. Don't know what. Still figuring out.

May be firefox is strict about proper closing and opening of tags. There might be some problem with related to this.

But then it works in some firefox (eg for Nimii) so the confusion remains

FF likes me that is why it is behaving decently with me while winamp dislikes me

PST = Pacific Standard Time which is the timezone that California
is in.
As for the song choices, let me see. I really want to focus on her range
rather than specific songs. But I am going to try and stay away from
too many of the popular songs.

Seriously though, I think India has to be one of the 'widest' countries (East - West wise) that has only a single time zone... and an odd one at that ( + 0530 GMT) !

Let me explain in bhaasha that you will understand :

aur jab mai kahooN "PST hai California ka waqt",
to tum kehna "Sir thank you, sir thank you"

HaaN uske liye bandaroN ki zaroorat hoti hai, billiyoN ki nahi.
Although the billis and billas that I have known are pretty
adept at scaling walls. Pata nahi is billi ki kya problem hai.


Visuja already explained all about that in his note. To make matters
worse, we have EDT and PDT in addition to EST and PST. During the
summers the clocks change by an hour and so we have "Daylight
Savings Time" and hence the "D" in EDT and PDT. We just set our
clocks back an hour a few weeks back since summer is over.

IST represents a via-media and was deliberately adopted as an 'artificial' standard time for the country, otherwise there would be an hour's difference between say, Mumbai and Kolkata. Hence the odd 1/2 hour.

SB and Priyz I thought PST was Priya's Standard Time when she has enough bandwidth to sit online for a good 1 hour
