Just wanted to share sum memorable scenes 4rom their 1 n only film 2gether, Shakti. Hope you'll enjoy them. Just 1 thing, its audio 4mat I'm afraid... I have this on vhs.


No. 1:

This is where Dilip-ji calls his dweeb son to warn him not to work 4 D K Narang. Rakhee steals the show tho, near the end she interrupts Dilip in mid speech, big mistake, the guy shouts: "SHEETAL! Jab mein bol raha hoon beech mein tum mat bolo", colour drained 4rom Rakhee as cold bath water. PRICELESS!!

PS: Love the way Dilip-ji begins, "Tumhari maa ne bataya" also I like the way he says: "He is a blacklisted man".

No. 2:

In this scene Big B is thrown in jail n the guy refuses to give a statement so his dad (Dilip saab) comes to talk sum sense into him. Afterwards his second dad comes to post bail.

There is a nice small role played by Ashok Kumar in the movie. Here is 1...

N0. 4:

Another confrontation between Dilip & AB. I like the line AB says, "Jis kanoon ne mujhe aapko mere liye ajnabee bana diya, mein apne aapko uss kanoon ke hawaale kabhi nahi karoon ga". But dont worry, Dilip deals with him alright!.

N.5:

Smita Patil comes with the joyful tidings that she's part of the family now. Dilip is class here... I like the way he wins his wife over.

Last but not least...




Tumhara dukh janta hoon lekin mein khuch kar nahi sakta. Aur khuch tasalee mile to meri taraf dehk lo, tumse kam badnaseeb nahi hoon mein. Sab khuch guva chukka hoon mein. Aur agar khuch baki hai, to mujhe lagta hai, ke mein, aaj woh bhi guva doon ga.

Are you 4 real? How do you relate 'Shakti' to 'Heat'? Have you even seen the 2? Also, Al Pacino = Dilip Kumar & De Niro = Raj Kumar. Is Raj Kumar in Shakti? I think not!!!!
