yeh...but the songs r old! They r not from recent films

Date of issue of the album is a key criterion, even if they are old songs. For example, Asha-ji is one artiste who currently holds stage-shows. She sings a lot of old numbers (along with more recent ones) in her live concerts. An album release of such a concert would be considered a "current" issue.

WHo made this rule? Zayed - does it have a date PRINTED on the "ALBUM"?

The '1987 rule' was arrived at in consensus among members after a long and detailed discussion last year. As agreed upon, the only exceptions to the rule are songs by Rafi-sahab and Kishore-da issued after their demise.

IF there is NO date printed on the album - can he upload the songs? Zayed Bhai - aap kaha hai?

Zayed-bhai has already stated that they are post '87 concerts. Whether printed or not, we take his word for it.
