Hi Moshin
There is a male version of this song sung by Mukesh, if that's what you meant by "2 versions".
I have that one , I can upload it, if you want.
Mohsin means that there is a Lata and a Mukesh version of the above song.
So...we are all looking for the Lata version.
Hits-ji - do we have correct info on this ?? Are there both a Lata and a Mukesh version of the above song ???
(hits-ji should take complete control of earthmusic.net - and then modify & perfect it)

There are 2 versions of this song. A Lata solo, and a Mukesh solo. Now, this song is available as a "duet" also. However, this "duet" version is just a creative cut and paste of the 2 solo versions. Another song that jumps to mind with a similar circumstance is "Aaj Kal Mein Dhal Gaya" from "Beti Bete".
This song is in the film as solo only there is no duet.
Aaj Kal Mein Dhal Gaya is present in the film as a Duet and also as a Lata solo and rafi solo all
with Three stanzas
Last stanza: Kaun aayega Idhar Kiski Rah Dekhen Hum,
Jinki aahten suni ,jane kiske the kadam,
apna koi bhi nahin apne to hain ram
