Rough Stroyline

Ambar Malhotra (Preity Zinta) left Bangalore and nagging parents to come and study medicine in Melbourne, Australia. She wanted to escape marriage and the idea of handling awkward proposals. Now, she works part-time as a radio jockey at a station called 'Salaam Namaste', where she interviews Indians living in Australia.

Nikhil Arora (Saif Ali Khan) is an architect-turned-head chef who works at a restaurant called Nick of Time, in Melbourne. We are told he always loved cooking, preferring it to playing with friends outside. Now, he does what he loves doing, and the fact that he's also paid for it doesn't hurt him in the least.

Nick asks Ambar to move in with him, to see if this relationship can stay afloat. She decides to give him a chance, and agrees. They pick an apartment, and then, the fun begins. One leads to another, both of them have sex and typical of hindi movie, the girl becomes Pregnant. Nick backs out his relationship and finally realizes his mistakes and apnavs her.

i watched this movie in theatre...............i hated the theme..........eastern countries , specially India is rich in culture.........why do they have to copy western culture....... .....anyways, i hope that bollywood instead of making these kind of movies,they should re- make their old ones if they run out of topics..........finally , a light praise.............that some scenese were really funny and makes u laugh............but i am wondering, why is it still going on in our Calgary Moviedoom ..........did people like it? or there's no bollywood movie to paly...............i am so waiting for another one to watch with mom

I have seen both the movies. Salaam Namaste ,almost couple of weeks back and No Entry I guess around month ago. To be precise , No entry is much much more comedy where else Salaam Namaste is like part comedy , part romantic , etc etc. No entry , just forget your brains at home , have a good laugh and lots of pop corns. I thought Salaam Namaste had a strong message... "Dont go into a makeship or tryout relationship unless you are totally comitted to whatever outcome of it"......which has become very important nowadays , when we see growing number of Live-In couples in Indian Metro Cities.


In short Salaam Namaste gets boring in between for short durations while No entry is total time pass without any meaning

I saw no entry. Comedy was kinda over kill.

Did not like Anil Kapoor's acting. He was much better in movies with Madhuri Dixit.. Jamai Raja and other movies with MD that were lined up during those days. Salman and Fardeen were OK. Esha did not have much to do. Bips was sexy as usual. Lara was tik tik. But I prefer serious roles from her.. kinda roles in Bardaasht.

No Entry was good, I liked Salman Khan's acting, Fardeen was horrible, Anil was okay. Lara did a good job for the first time without using her assets, and the rest 2 heroines were horrible like fardeen.

Its a telugu movie remake. I dont remember the telugu movie name, but it was a mega-hit in AP.

Salaam Namaste is boring. Though it's has some comedy, but tends to get boring by the end. They spoiled everything especially at the end.

I haven't seen No Entry and I dont feel like seeing it as I feel it will be like just another Salmaan Khan comedy like Hello Brother, and that's the worst movie I have ever seen and don't want to repeat that same mistake again!

When compared to that SN was better! Like you said it got dragged unnecessarily and the last scene really sc***** up whatever little substance was there to be credited.

ANother unwanted character in that movie was Javed Jaffrey grrr!

yeah.. but that "sowwy" and "ejactly" was really funny initally and "Hamber" too!

I had brought the cd from local video shop and I almost felt like taking my comp and throwing it out "those days I didnt have a vcd player too"!!!!!!!!!!!

SN ya initially it was fun.. well the storyline could have been improved and having two brilliant actors like SAK and PZ they could have put more use of the talent

And I thought Anil was good, Fardeen OK and Salman just about OK!
And I think Lara's 'assets' were not missing from the movie... she seemed quite complete.

NE is not so bad... It's good TP, especially for kids like you. Some farcical
scenes, slapstick comedy... but funny all the same. But you're not an adult na? Then you won't be allowed in.

Oh.. I used to like Madhavan too much during his Saaya days (a serial on Sony TV a couple of years back). I watched RHTDM only for him (though not in theatre but watched entire movie). But, was dissappointed with the movie He looks more good in serials. I only liked the songs of that movie

I've seen a Tamil movie of his with a friend in Bangalore! Don't remember the name, but the guy with me, a Tamil, translated into English as "A kiss on the face". Directed by Mani Ratnam. Didn't understand a bit of it, but my friend translated the storyline all through! Good movie.

Yes fantastic movie!! It is about a child from Sri Lanka who is adopted by Mads and Simran and how they go back to SL to locate the mother who has joined the Tamil Eelam militants (mother's role done by Nandita Das).

Pradeep Bhai you still use torrents? 90% of the movies are available as direct downloads on Megaupload and Rapidshare. They are faster than Bit torrents. Torrents suck since you need to wait for seeding. Gosh each movie takes a day or two.

Saw 60% of this movie. Madhavan is a miserable choice for this role. Raghuveer Yadav would have come out with flying colors. A southern boy doing a bihari role and justify it? Ever be possible?

Well Madhavan did his schooling and studies from Bihar... so he considers himself to be quite good in Hindi !

But yeah.. u can remove a Southie from the South, but not the Southie stamp, can you ?

Talking about Nala Damayanti right?......cudnt stand that movie........a mixture of Tenali and Michael Madan Kama Rajan I think........ayyo...Madhavan playing a Bihari ka role..........pochu da..........I will save myself from the misery........Madhavan does have a very sweet smile........I liked him in Banegi apni baat.
