Hi all,

As it is now passed midnight in London it is officially my birthday (19th August). I am now the grand old age of 25. As a treat I am uploading some songs from a CD I bought recently in Pakistan. The songs are in good quality and have absolutely no jhankar whatsoever. Only problem is I can't work out some of the film names because the writing is in Urdu - so Inaam bhai, or anyone else who can read Urdu, please give the details.

Thanks so much for your kind wishes. I just got back from spending the evening with my family for dinner. I will upload the songs you have requested tomorrow.

Ummer - Both my parents are Pakistani (although I would say my dad is from the whole sub-continent - he has spent time in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan at various times of his life), but my mum has been in the UK since the age of six and also can't read Urdu. My dad can read Urdu, but I never really learnt to read or write it. It is a great shame so I hope to learn one day - I'll have to get my wife to teach me!

Priya - the shop that I bought these CD's from say they have the original recordings, they may have chopped the verse to fit all the songs on CD. Next time I am in Lahore I will get them to check and record it again. They have said that if I give them a list of songs they will make up a CD for me with the songs that they have. Unfortunately he does not have any kind of catalogue of what songs he has

Jamal! I am enjoying all the CD quality songs uploaded by you. 'Adhi Raaton Dhal gai Raat..' is one of my favorites.I m playing it repeatedly. I am also enjoying the amazing sound quality of 'Tun ain mera dildaar..'. In my openion, all the 'Jaadu' songs are THE BEST of Noor Jehan. Do you have more songs of 'Jaadu' in CD quality?
