Sorry Mukesh never sang in any Guru Dutt movies...He preferred Rafi only...one song by Hemant Kumar and ony one by Talat in his first screen debut movie Baaz

Guru Dutt may be the only popular hero who never used Mukeshji. With GD's serious acting it would have been an interesting combination.
By the way he used Maherndra Kapoor in Bhrosa for one duet.

Mahendra Kapoor sounds very very similar to Rafi and moreover, Bharosa was a movie in which his involve ment was only as an actor and that's all....He did these films Bharosa, Bahurani, and Sanjh Aur Savera only as a side engagement at a time when he was mentally very disturbed in 1963-64
