This song, I think, has two versions. The above is version 1 (at least according to what I have, both versions sounds different towards the end).
The above song is only 96 Kbps - so a better quality is on the look-out.

Maybe one is filmi version, and the other is cassette/cd version....just a guess.

I know I have version 2 somewhere - not able to find it in my computer right now. Maybe it is in some CD. Shall search for it later.

Enjoy nonetheless! (Lata's vocals are so powerful in these 1970s song)

REQUESTING A SONG:

This is a song I heard in 1996 outside a famous muglai chowki on GT Road!...when i was living in Kanpur...

"Na Jane Kyon Mera Man.....something something like that....It seemed Lata, but I am not sure of the film or the singer or anything....It is a very melodious song.....
Anyone can identify/has it????

So no one has heard this song????

I am guessing Lata...as I heard it on radio as we were all eating and chatting on GT Road outiside Kanpur City with trucks passing by at night (Midnightish) and goods train whistling!!!

But the portions I heard are still fresh in my memory...Very extended notes....I can hum the tune of those parts still!

Could someone upload (in CDQ preferably) one more Lata solo from this same film:

- Udke Pawan Ke Rang Chaloongi.....Ruk Jaa Ae Hawaa Tham Jaa Ae Bahar

Thanks,

Sani.

P.S: I do not have a good quality file of Jyot Se Jyot (Sant Gyaneshwar, 1964). And I think there are several other Lata songs in this film, almost all of which I would want. unsure.gif
