Well, Inaam Bhai, as far as I know, Jagjit & Chitra had only ONE son from their marriage Vivek (fondly called Baboo) , and a few years back, he (a grown up 18 yr old guy) alongwith some of his close friends, had gone on some trip to some hill-station I guess. The accident happened on the way back, leading to instant death of Baboo (the others escaped miraculously.........another famous boy on the car was Sairaj Bahutule, Indian leg-spinner & Mumbai captain, who was a very close friend of Baboo)

Beautiful link Shyam. Very touching story on his personal losses and his will to overcome them and re-establish himself as the leading ghazal singer in India. bow.gif bow.gif sad1.gif

He seems to have adopted these lines as the philosophy of his life :
"Hai Sabse Madhur Woh Geet Jinhein Hum Dard Ke Sur Mein Gaate Hain"
