Well, I don't know too much about Geeta Dutt's songs so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Her most famous songs according to me are that "Babu ji Dheere Chal Na" and "Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan". They both come from the baton of OP Nayyar. And both songs will be popular even 300 years from now. The first song really showcases Geeta Dutt's trademark: she glides through that song as if it was composed specifically for her. She seems so natural and her voice has so much life & zest. Which brings us to the next point - I understand that Geeta Dutt was a typecast for weepy songs & weep bhajans (and hearing those songs before OP Nayyar, I would have sadly thought the same - boy was I proven wrong). I love OP Nayyar's compositions - you can immediately tell his apart from that of others. OP's compositions were indeed peppy (it is said many times and the truth of it never wanes) so he finally utilized another dimension of Geeta Dutt. Most importantly, SDB was all about Lata - the others were his second serves. OP Nayyar was exactly the opposite. In fact, OP was a trendsetter - he is the one that positioned Rafi to be undisputed King from when going from 50s to 60s. OP made sure Rafi was voice for everyone in 50s. He did the same for Asha Bhonsle (who otherwise would have had a long delayed break). And I say he was beginning to do the same (before Asha) for Geeta Dutt. It was Guru Dutt and OP's personal matters that ruined this path. So for me, OP Nayyar is the clear choice.

Thanks a lots for your vote and your opinion.
Many of the thoughts you shared are true. I just wanted to highlight one thing.
Burman da started off with Geeta ji (Baazi) and then switched over to Lata ji. At the same time, IMHO, SDB is the one composer who gave so many melodies for lots of female playback singers apart from Lata ji
Geeta ji - Kala Bazar
Sandhya Mukherjee - Sazaa
Shamshad - Bahar
Suman Kalyanpur - Miya bibi razi
Asha ji - Lajwanti
Suraiya - Afsar
I think the variety and spectrum of SDB is unparallel, again strictly IMHO.
Thanks
