It is very simple. H.264 is technical name
for MPEG4. MPEG4 can have many codec.
H.264 is the latest. Just like AAC is the audio
codec for MPEG4 standard. All the Cell phones
will use it. The next HD DVD will be using it.
Apple is pushing it. So it is going to be fight between
Microsoft and MPEG4. Real is dead.
I only did single pass encoding. Multi-pass is even better.
