It is a Hemant Kumar and as well as a Geeta Dutt solo used in SHART.

Personally i feel the Geeta Dutt version sounds better as the Hindi pronounciations as well as the smoothness of her voice just glides through the end notes than Hemant Kumar's

This song "Na yeh chand hoga na tarey rahenge" was also sung by Kauser Parveen for the Pakistani film "Sassi" (1954). Music Director was G.A. Chisthi.

I dont have the song right now. The tune and lyrics are identical to the Geeta Dutt's version. Someone on RMIM was claiming to have this song. I think it was Neha Desai. Maybe Urzung Khan have it?
