I’m starting it with a romantic melody ‘Ae hawa aaon chho na khillan’ (Ae hawa mein kyon na hansson), its from film ‘Ghoonghat laae Kunwaar’ (1970) MD Imdaad Hussain, Lyricist Manzoor Naqvi.

Hi Inaam. Dled the song the other day from the net cafe. Very lovely one but Ur tape seems to be going bad. Kaash ki yeh gaane music market mein milte. Sindhi sounds like a sweet language. Cannot understand it tho. Not like Punjabi which one can get a gist of. A translation woudl be great.
Love the way Madam takes the 'ae' after each antara.

I already have that song. I was reading somewhere that if you go by category, Noor Jehan sang the maximum number of songs in "hot/spicy/cabaret" category. I am pretty sure that "hot" songs of Noor Jehan are atleast 600-700. Once in some film, they were showing the clips of Noor Jehan Geet Mala with lots of songs from 80s and 90s, and heroines like Anjuman and Saima dancing to the tunes. You must have all of them... upload

And Innam Bhai, my request is, could you please u/l Sindhi songs of Noorjehan again, including those you may u/l earlier. I am very keen to listen to how Noorjehan has sung in a language with which she may not be fully familiar. Of course Sindhi happens to be my mother tongue. So I am doubly keen. Please u/l her spicy songs in the other thread specific to such songs.

Thanks for this nice song Inaam , though I can't really make any sense of the lyrics its quite pleasing to the ears . I like two Sindhi songs of Noor Jehan a lot- 'aao rana raho raat' and 'muhnjee preet nayee'

Are there any songs from the earlier period, 60s or earlier. To be honest, this latest song is very noisy. Noorjehan's voice is literally drowned in the noisy orchestra. I can hardly figure out what the lyrics are.

Hi Pradeep!
To my knowledge, Noor Jehan sang her first Sindhi song for 'Ghoonghat Lai Kunwar'. It was a 1970 film. As for as the sound quality of 'Aayo saawan aayo' is concerned, you are right it is poor but It seemed me worthwile to post because Noor Jehan's Sindhi songs are so rare.

Anyway! Here is another lovely song that I enjoy very much. I hope that you like it as well!
