Full Version: Childhood Memories Of Tid-bits From Random Movies

Hello, all. I have some trivia type questions regarding some movie/tid-bits I recall from childhood. Any help with them will be greatly appreciated:

1. A Jeetendra & Leena starrer. Madan Puri played Leena's rich daddy. Hence the song: "Mera Sasuraa Bada Payse Waala.."

2. A knock-off of "Mrs. Doubtfire", maybe. It has that guy who did bit roles all his life. He was the dance-teacher in Rajesh Khanna's "Bawarchi" and I believe was "Mangal" in "Satte Pe Satta." He gets a job as a governess by preteding to be an old woman, only to have the old father (or perhaps a grandfather) fall in love with "her." Much hilarity ensues, including a song that goes something like this:

Ooeee Amma Ooee amma, ooee amma ooee amma...
ooee amma ooee amma pakhRHi Gayee....
Ho... BuDDha mera jawaan ho gaya.....
Sara jahaan pareshaan ho gayaa.....

3. A Jeetendra-Rekha starrer from the mid '80s. Don't remember a whole lot about it except this song, maybe from a college-type picnic setting:

Raqqaasa Raqs kar......
Tera husn, mera ishq...
Dono.n hei.n shabaab par....
Jaag UThaa dard-e-dil, dard-e-jigar.......

4. This one, I wanna say, has a bunch of people. For some reason, and I hope I'm not combining two movies, I wanna say they're out in a desert/badlands on some type of a treasure hunt? The song, is the only thing that I remember clearly, I might have the movie completely wrong. Maybe it's called "Do shikari", maybe it's called "Zalzalaa", maybe something completely different. I just want to know what movie this song is from:

Aaaja Gori Dil Mein Rakh Lei.n Tujhe....
Kiyo.n na chori chori ChuKh lei.n tujhe....
Tu baRHi namkeen hai......

Any help with any of these movies will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rizwan

Hi Rizwan.......Guess ...the actor whom you're talking about in Point No.2 is PAINTAL......a very good, talented actor.........does a very good job with comedy especially.......(His most recent film, I guess, is Funtooshhh, another comic film, where he plays the role of a guy from an 'ancient' period (10th century), who comes up with lots of ideas about 'gadgets' and 'devices' that will be used in the 'Future' (such as Telephone, Car etc. tongue.gif) Nice little cameo.......really good actor... smile1.gif bow.gif

Hello!
The first film you are talking about is Bidaai (1974) with Jeetendra and Leena Chandavarkar. The song "Ho Kabhi Khole Na Tijori Ka Taala, Haan Mera Sasura Badha Paise Waala" was performed by Kishore Kumar.
