my friends say that suhani chandi raaten is broken heart song. is this true? is say it is love song!

At least the picturisation of the song depicts the broken heart mood. A beared and dejected Shashi Kapoor sings the song for Vidya Sinha (his wife in the movie) suspecting her relationship with Sanjeev Kumar. (Film-Mukti)
