What an actor he has been. I have never saw such an actor who is so much perfect in his every scene even from his first shoot. His acting is the most natural I've ever seen, his brain moves faster than the audience. Give him any kind of role and he'll come up with the best and his career shows. I first saw some of his tragedy roles (like 'Mela', 'Devdas', 'Mughal-e-Azam') which set an impact of a serious tragedy hero but after watching a couple of his light roles (like 'Ram Aor Shyam' and 'Kohinoor') I just forgot his previous impact like it never was in my mind, and this is what is called the greatness of an actor. To have full joy of his acting, his film needs to be seen atleast twice, because some minor details of his acting don't show up in the first encounter. In my opinion ( as being a serious movie lover) no one is the sub-continent cinema comes closer to him.
In his tribute I've started a group named 'Dilip Kumar' at Yahoo groups, his fans please join.
