I just finished reading the delightful little article on Lata's collaborations with MM posted in the SS thread...

Curiously enough, I've heard ALL the songs listed in the article except the ones the writer rattles off in one of the last few paragraphs!! I think all these belong to a certain period in MM's career?? I haven't heard a single one!

Can someone please comment/ul? Apologies if the topic has appeared before in a thread (im sure it has in some form or another).

What about the other tracks in the article? Are they rare? I've listened to most of MM's ghazals (at least i thought so), but I have not even heard the names of any of these songs! Perhaps these songs are from films that really flopped (then again, so did most of the films MM composed for ) Any Lata-MM fans to the rescue?

Here is one more that I am very fond of for many reasons,
not the least of which is that is a lovely composition.

And another beautiful song. For the longest time, the only song
I knew from this film "Railway platform" was the Rafi solo. While
I like it, it was never my favorite. And then I discovered this gem.
Played it over and over again for about a week.

(That was supposed to be me rolling my eyes in pleasure)

Was visiting musicindiaonlie.com - and came to know that Mera Saaya Saath Hoga (Mera Saaya) by Lata (music: MM) has 2 versions - a fast one (i have that), and a slower one (don't have).

Anyone here can upload the slower version, please ???
