Afaik, both these songs were non film. I do not know much about
the songs of KS. A couple of them I really liked.... aj sohne kapde
te chunni vi bareek ai....... but they were by Shamshad.
May be Barg or Dharmvir gives us a list of songs of Kode Shah movie.

The audio cassette Of Koday Shah songs that I have ( I think it's from Classic Movie Club) has one chorus song ' O jatta Aaee Waisakhi' which has quite a few male and female singers whose names are not shown but distinctive parts by singers sounding like Asa Singh Mastana and others were part of this chorus.Since all other songs have their singer names credited one may surmise that in this chorus song, one of the female singers could be Mohinder Kaur.Harjinder

Years back I had heard a song by Mohd. Rafi........... Nayi Reet Punjab Di Kahendi Leher Chinab Di.

A friend told me recently that the song is from Mirza Sahiban (1957). Do you have this song? Or for that matter does any one on HF have it.

I would love to hear it again.

By the way the singers for previous songs 'sannun te pawaiyan kothriyan'and ' Boohe te marangi jandre' ( correct me if I am wrong) are Trilok Kapoor and Parkash Kaur. Cheecho cheech ganerian, do terian do merian was a different song than the Shamshad Begum song. I remember hearing it on loudspeakers in Punjab in the 50's or so.If I remember correctly it was a duet from a Pakistani Punjabi film.I do not remember anything else.By the way thanks for this one.
