The name of the film is "Miss Mala" produced in the year 1954. The film was directed by Jayant Desai and the star cast included Kishore Kumar, Vyjayanthimala, Bipin Gupta, Jeevan and Samson. The lyrics were penned by Raj Mehandi ali Khan and play back singers were: Asha Bhonsle, Kishore Kumar, Geeta Dutt, Mubarak Begum and Shamshad Begum.

I have all songs of Miss Mala. Which song was sung by Mubarak Begum? I dont recall any. Anywayz, Miss Mala had some awesome songs.

the "Ek hi film ke geet" thread in SKS. THis is a rare film and getting all its songs
would be fantastic. According to the GK, there are 7 songs in the film:
1. Dil na lagaana dil ka lagaana bahut bura - Shamshad Begum
2. Naachti jhoomti muskuraati aa gayi - Geeta Dutt, Kishore Kumar
3. Manzil kahaaN meri - Kishore Kumar
4. Chori chori aana na - Asha Bhonsle, Mohammad Rafi
5. Dekho na dekho hameN - Geeta Dutt, Kishore Kumar
6. O ri o ri chhup chhup chhup do dil - Geeta Dutt
7. Kaisi bahu ghar me aayi - Shamshad Begum

As you said, there are no Mubarak Begum songs in the film. I put up the
lyrics in case it helps jogs B Garg's memory. Perhaps it is a Shamshad song.

Song number 6 is Kishore/Geeta Duet. It goes like this :-

Do dil jab chupke chupke nain milaien, duniya waley dandey laikai peechai peechai aayein, tou phir pyar karo gup chup, is duniya sai chup chup.

All songs are above average except Asha/Rafi duet. My favorites are :-

''mala the mighty'' was made in 1948 with music by chitragupt and lyrics by shyam sunder.there were six songs in the film.identity of the singer of only one song is confirmed.the song ''mein jhoom jhoom kar gaati hoon,sab duniya pe chaa jaati hoon'' was sung by geeta roy.she might have sung other songs also in the film.but hfgk doesn't mention any singers.
