The extremely lovely 'nainon mein badaraa chhaaye' by Lata trails off at the end with the music stopping abruptly, as if there was a stanza to follow.

Is the original song that way? Why does the music stop as if cut off abruptly? Or is the standard version of the song a cut-short version of an original longer version? (I understand that 'prem deewani hoon main.." is the last stanza. Is that right?)

Oh, Bhanu! what a let down, in a way I had the song with just the end music partially truncated. Now that I hear the 'complete' version, I see that the same music slowly peters out. So I did have a full song, minus the last few seconds.
But thanks as always for your helpfulness.

Another observation I had was that in the truncated version, I believe the mukhda is not repeated - at the beginning it is sung only once. Dost, u may choose whatever option to communicate...PM, forum....jo bhi ho, agar gaana mere paas hai, aap ko mil hi jaaega....
