I find it surprising that Khayyam did not use Geeta Dutt more in his films. He seems to have used her in his first four or five films, after which he seems to have switched completely to Asha... As his career too has mostly been on the margins of mainstream hindi films despite his long stay in the industry, he might not have had much of a say in choosing his singers...

I notice that I have several songs listed here that were tagged as belonging to Pawan Putra Hanuman (1957) - Music: Chitragupta.

as per the Geet Kosh Hanuman Chalisa-1969-the author writes

"Yeh film sanstha dwara purva-nirmit filmon ke kuch kuch anshon ko lekar banayi gayi thi"

"Unhi filmon se geet bhi utha liye gaye the"
