I haven't seen this movie. This is probably sung during Grahapravesha, when a couple is welcomed into groom's house by groom's sisters.

Would you have the following two songs?

Yes. Purandara dasa would be called hollywood dasa. I saw that movie mana mechhida madadi more than 40 years ago when I was still in college. I had to go with my mom . I was really ashmed to see kannada or tamil movies. I never wanted any of my college mates to see me in such places. Raj kumar and Leelavathi starred in this movie. The songs are all nice. I have songs from Naandi. I will upload them . I know the other song ,but I have forgotten the movie. I will get it for you.

This song, 'ee leela vilaasa vinoda ...' is probably from a 60s movie.
I had heard this song, but can't recollect the movie name. I used to see very few movies (Kannada ones hardly any).

I didn't find the songs or something, but I found a way to search for it! Go to
http://quillpad.in/search/?lang=kannada and type out the song you want in English font and see the transliteration in kannada. If you got the right spelling your song will be at least 5 times better. Because I found out that all large audio websites usually have the native language script in meta. Try it out!!

Nope, Thanu Karagadavaralli...is a vachana from Akka Mahaadevi.......you can get it easily by the last "ankitha.....CHENNAMALLIKAARJUNA" and moreover we get to hear lot of songs on Lord Krishna by Purandaradasa and with "ankitha.....PURANDARA VITALA" .

As far as I know, Suman Kalyanpur was from Bengal or West Begal. Her maiden name was Suman Hamadi.
Her husband was originally from Kalyanpur, Karnataka.

If it helps you to locate the audio, 'amma ni gummana kareyadiru', I found out that the song is from Anuradha (1967).
I think, it is a kirtane by Purandara Daasa. Some how, my vague memory of the song has it as P B Srinivas song; I might be wrong.

2 singers I really like from South are P.B.Srinivas and SPB. They sing in all the southindian movies. P.B.S' voice is suited for a few actors ,but SPB's voice is suited for all.
