Hi All

Moving on to alphabet L which has relatively fewer films

I’d like to reiterate my thanks to all of you for responding to the requests with uploads. Further, after Anupamaji’s wishlist, there has been a virtual deluge of gems of Rafi Sahab in this monsoon, perhaps a fitting tribute on the 30th death anniversary of the greatest singer of the sub continent. We have also got his rare Islamic Songs as also the non filmi and regional languages running as threads. Thanks to all of you.

I am attaching the excel file of songs of Rafi Sahab with films from L as an excel file. As in the previous posts, the ones in Blue are the ones I have and would love to share, and the ones in Red are the missing ones. (All songs sources YT/Net/HF).

A special thanks to Viraj for helping me pick up some brownie points with upload requests.

Further, am outlining my request list which I look forward to. I am combining this with the wishlist of Anupamaji, as the thread is now inactive.

there is no rafi voice in the song "log kehte hain--chupke se na ja uploaded above. This is a song sung by asha ji. However GEET KOSH mentions a song "log kehte hai mujhe--woh zamana aur tha sung by rafi & khan mastana. the data needs to be updated.

In fact Viraj has taken special pains and uploaded the missing ones from from my excel file list from A to L, which in turn was based on Mywan/Seshadri list, further consolidated by your list.

So I guess we will inch closer in the quest for the rare gems of Rafi Sahab

Thanks for your uploads and the clarifications of the songs of Laadla. The song of Lambu in Hong Kong is in Anupamaji's masterlist, though it may the same as haye mera dil

I badly needed the brownie points, as I am not a paid member (angles) and thus need the download/upload ratio. Luckily your request made me consolidate this, which is badly needed given the deluge of songs filmi as well as ghair filmi/regional of Rafi Sahab on the eve of his 30th death anniversary.
