(Jeetendra) Paappi Devataa (1995)
It is a tribute to the music director duo Laxmikant & Pyarelal who burst into films with the musical block buster “Parasmani” in 1963 and who continue to give good music even to films that seem to have not much going for them. This album is an excellent example of this even though the movie is not as bad as several of Dharmendra’s 90’s movies. There are some good songs in this film. My favorite is the song by Shobha Joshi, “Door Desh Se”. Ms. Joshi (picture attached below) who sang this so beautifully is a noted singer mostly of devotional songs. She sang in a few films, some of the notable being “Hum (1991)”, “Anadi Khiladi (1986)”, “Love Love Love (1989)”, “Gentleman (1989)” and others. (Jeetendra) Dushman Duniya Ka (1996)
Mehmood wrote the story of this film and directed it for one of his sons who was addicted to drugs. Both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan made guest appearances. (Dharmendra) Kohraam (1991)
The name of this film sounds like Amitabh's "Kohram" that was made in 1999. But the two films are not the same. The spelling of their names is so close with two "A"s in this movie's title. I am not sure how the producers of Amitabh's movie got away with it. Here are the songs from this album... Attached image(s)
