seems to be from "Anjane Mein". Could this be confirmed?

(Dev) Warrant (1975)

This is a very different Dev’s movie. In this film Dev sheds his generally romantic image and dons an action hero’s role. He is called on to do some unbelievable stunts, like jumping from one building to another, and fighting off several villains. He even throws down Dara Singh several times in a mock stunt. Uff…

Zeenat once again teams up with Dev even though this time she has a lesser role and not much time for romance as Dev is busy chasing baddies. The music by RD is a big letdown in this Pramod Chakravarthy directed film. Here are the songs from this film…

(Dev) Bullet (1976)

The year this movie was released marked the 25th year of Navketan, Dev’s home production house. Its story was loosely based on James Hadley Chase’s novel “Just Another Sucker”. Incidentally, while shooting for this film was going on Dev met a visitor who came to see the shooting. He recognized her to be the Miss Photogenic Award winner at the International Teen Princess contest held in Aruba. She was Tina Munim. Dev offered her to star in his next film. She ended up acting in next three films of Dev’s “Des Pardes (1978), “Lootmaar (1980)”, and “Man Pasand (1980)”.

Vijay Anand wrote the screenplay, edited, produced and directed the movie. There are only four songs in the film but RD’s music was without much gusto. Here are the songs from this film…

(Dev) Jaaneman (1976)

With his chips down because of series of flops he produced, Dev was looking for a vehicle that could turn around his career. He didn't need to go too far. He found it in his own hit and trend setting movie "Taxi Driver" made in 1954. He hired elder brother Chetan, who also was the director of "Taxi Driver", to direct "Jaaneman". When he approached Hema to be his leading lady, she agreed. It was reported in the press that out of respect for her costar Dev who fell on lean times, Hema either didn't take any money for her role or she took only a nominal amount.

This was the 25th year Navketan was founded. Along with “Bullet” this film was another one released during the year. All said and done, in the end when “Jaaneman” was released, it enjoyed only limited success.

The limited success of the movie owed a lot to good music and some fine songs written by Bakshi Saab and composed by LP. Two of these songs were repeated three times each in the movie, each time with different lyrics. The title track by Kishoreda is outstanding. I am uploading here all three parts and a full version that includes all the three parts. The song “Aayegi” by Lataji also was repeated three times in the film. I am uploading here all three parts. I am also uploading the CD version of this song that has different order than the individual parts of the song.

There are some other fine songs including the hit duet “Ki Gal Hai”. I am uploading these and other songs in two back-to-back posts. Here is the first set...

(Kishore) Apmaan (1982), Maa (1982) & Sun Sajna (1982)

Kishoreda is listed as an actor in the film "Apmaan" in many references. However, I am convinced that this is not the great Kishoreda, but someone else also named Kishore.

The film "Maa" costarring Kum Kum and directed by Phani Majumdar was never released. If there are any songs in this movie I am not sure whether they are available. If so, if anyone of our members can share these, please kindly do so. Thank you.

Finally "Sun Sajna" is another film in which even though Kishoreda is wrongfully credited but he did not appear. The actor who appeared in this film is Kishore Kapoor. I have a DVD of this film and can assure you that Kishoreda is not in this film.

(Dev) Darling Darling (1977)

This film has no redeeming feature in it. The story was hackneyed. The performances were uneven. The music was insipid. An utterly forgettable movie.
