(Dilip) Kalinga (1996)

This movie was supposed to be a maiden directorial venture of Dilip Saab. Dilip Saab was not in the movie. It had Meenakshi Sheshadri & Jackie Shroff in the lead. However the production faced several difficulties, financial and others, and resumed shooting on and off with only sporadic interest with the principles involved. Then everyone attached to the project lost interest and I believe the movie was finally shelved. It was never finished and thus was never released. I don't believe even the songs were ever released but I may be wrong about this.

HFGK is not having any details of the singers from this film.
i think in song ANJAAM E MOHOBBAT IS HAVING USHA MANGESKARJI,S VOICE ALSO
& the song EK DIN AISE--is definately LATAJI,S VOICE.
for correction from other forum members.

My Dear Taiyab,

Thanks for your suggestions.

In the singer list for the film I found that Suman Kalynapur sang a song for the film. That pursuaded me aganist my own instincts to assign her name for the song "Bhool Gaye". I made this change to the table.

The same list didn't mention Usha Mangeshkar as one of the singers in the film. I will wait for someone else to authenticate that she is the third singer along with Asha and Lata for the song "Anjaam-E-Mohabbat".
