(Dilip) Sagina Mahato (1970) - A Bengali Film
The music for this film was composed by the great producer and director of many Bengali films, Tapan Sinha. It was later remade in Hindi as "Sagina" in 1974. The Bengali film won several awards from the Bengal Film Journalists' Association. These include the Best Actor for Dilip Kumar, the Best Supporting Actor for Anil Chatterjee, the Best Art Director for Sunit Mitra, the Best Music for Tapan Sinha, and the Best Playback Singer for Anup Ghoshal. The hit pair of "Patita (1953)" are back again for this film. Dev plays once again a negative character. But the movie itself was just about average. It did have some nice songs. I am uploading these from a DVD and some thanks to the courtesy of the Forum members... Attached image(s)

(Kishore) Bewaqoof (1960)
I.S. Johar wrote, produced, acted, and directed this romp with Kishoreda in the lead. The movie had its moments but in the end it was too much of zaniness to take. Burmanda composed several good songs but in the final analysis the movie turned out to be just about an average one. This one is one of the beauties from the combination of Dev-Majrooh-SD. To this add lovely Nutan. When you mix all this what you have is a fun filled out and out entertainer. The movie entertain it does. Burmanda's songs help it to a great extent by giving it a big boost with almost every one of them being an unforgettable chart buster.
