Starting a thread on sharing links of Shankar Jaikishan's live shows and other related videos and clippings of SJ !

Shankar Jaikishan did many programs for charity, for colleges and in aid of Indian defence forces !
One of the program "Shankar Jaikishan night" held in 1966 led to mammoth 13.5 crore(some say figure was ard 20 crore or was it for Naval show? ) in terms of bonds, saving etc !. Imagine what will be 13 crore's value today ? Shankar Jaikishan did one more big grand program in aid of Indian Navy called "NAVAL STARS" in 1970. Music fans uploaded many videos of this program. Iam sharing the online links of the same videos. So that they are availble at one place for viewing. ! All those videos were uploaded by hnj50. Details says the program was named "Raj Kapoor presents Melody Makers Shankar Jaikishan ". I will like to confirm it ! Here are the videos one by one ! NAVAL STARS - SHANKAR JAIKISHAN PROGRAM PART 1 In this video you can see Raj kapoor, Admiral Nanda( he died just last week ), Prithvi raj kapoor with wife, Jaikishan comes with SJ's assistent Sebastian , Rafi saab with his son, Simmi , dara singh, prem chopra with wife, Sadhna with husband, Babita, Agha, jhonny walker, Nimmi, Randhir kapoor with mother krishna, c hhote mehmood, maruti, Mehmood, Helen, Rajendra kumar, Jeetendra, Raj kumaar, Admiral chatterjee, PRESIDENT OF INDIA V V GIRI along GOVERNOR OF MAHARASHTRA Pic of Jaikishan with sebastian from the video ! Here is 2nd part of The program
This part features two live songs by Mukesh (and Sharda). First one being " Sajan re jhoot" and other being "around the world". PART 2 -- NAVAL STARS - SHANKAR JAIKISHAN PROGRAM Just notice in the start how Shankar makes accordian player -Dheeraj(??) , the one with specs, to stand up so that he could get desired sound effect !. Shankar was good player of accordian himself ! BTY Accordion is not prominently used in the song still Shankar tries to get some desired effect ! You can also see Sebestian helping SJ in conducting the orchestra. and then laterz check how Jaikishan aggressively shakes/moves his hands while conducting the orchestra for "Ard the world". One reason why SJ were called masters of orchestra PS :Can any one recognise any other artist from the orchestra ? I will post the other video links at my own pace !!
