Kannavaari Kalalu (1974) - A Telugu Film
This is the Telugu version of the super hit "Aradhana (1969)" in Hindi. It was also a hit in Telugu. The songs are not copies but essentially are of similar situational ones. "Roop Tera Mastana" in Telugu, though is not a copy of the Hindi version, was done well by Balu. That song is "Cheli Choopulona". Here are the songs from this movie ... Attached image(s) |

Chanda Hai Tu Mera Suraj Hai tu - Lata Mangeshkar - Sad part
time 2:06/Bitrate 128kbps For me, singing sad songs often has a way of healing a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness.

(Waheeda) Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1961)
Here is another delightful album from the duo Shankar & Jaikishan. I am including all the songs from this album here. But because they came from different sources, their quality is also variable. The quality of the songs from CDs is quite good. So is the quality of those contributed by the Forum members (thank you). To complete the album, I have to acquire the rest from a DVD. Quality of these songs is just fair. I have extended versions of several of these songs, also available from the DVD. But because their quality is so poor, I am not uploading them here. I can give details of these for those interested. I have a slightly longer version of "Jaao Na Sataao" of 4:06 (versus 3:55) duration. There is also an extended version of "Suno Bhai". This is of 3:31 (versus 2:33) duration. Then there is the title song that is only slightly longer at 4:05 (versus 3:52). Finally I have an extended version of "Tum To Dil Ke Taar" of Lata that is of 3:54 (versus 3:23) duration. This is the same song as the one I am uploading here but the difference is that it is preceded by Talat's humming. (Talat almost sounds like Hemantda here when he is humming). Now for the songs from this album .... This post has been edited by swarapriya: Oct 26 2009, 11:51 AM Attached image(s) |
