SP,

The first version of Bechain Nazar that you have posted is also the re-recorded version. For some strange reason the original version is impossible to find in CD compilations. Here is the original ripped from youtube.

Bechain Nazar Betaab Jigar - Yasmin 1955 - Talat - CR - 128 - 03:41

(Waheeda) Kala Bazar (1960)

Here is a classic from Burmanda. There was such chemistry between Dev Anand and SD that each time they got together the result was unforgettable music. This album is no exception. It has two of my favorite Rafi Saab's solos, "Apni To Har Aah" that was sung with such a lasting deep feeling and "Khoya Khoya Chaand" an infectiously delicious song that overwhelms by giving the feeling of as if you are drenching in the moonlight, and a beautifully mesmerizing duet of Rafi Saab with Geetaji, "Rimjhim Ke Taraane Leke", that feels as if you're running in the rain with gay abandon. Music doesn't get any better than this.

I am also including a song contributed by the members of this Forum, "Sambhaalo Sambhaalo". Thank you. Now here are the songs ...

(Asha) Apna Bana Ke Dekho (1962)

Here is another fine album from Ravi where Rafi Saab's solo "Raaz-E-Dil" is a standout. Most of these songs are by the courtesy of the Forum members. I may be missing two songs shown in red italics in the table below. If so, and if you can, please kindly share them with rest of us. Thank you.

(Hema) Paraya Dhan (1971)

It seems like both RD and Anand Bakshi were experimenting with the songs in this album. Of course there were some run-of-the-mill type of songs. But look at the duet "Aao Jhoomen" the way it was sung. It starts like any other song then it picks up by adding yodelling as part of the wording, not the way Kishore usually did in another songs where yodelling happens after the words. A delightful compostition. Then look at the play of the words in these songs "Aasha Gayi Usha Gayi" and "Tu Pyaar Tu Preet". All in all the songs from this album grow on you.

Here are the songs ...

(Mala) Nausherwan-E-Adil (1957)

Here is a beautiful album by Chitalkar with several melodious songs. It has one of my favorite duets, sung by Lata & Rafi Saab, "Taaron Ki Zubaan Par Hai". Here is the complete album ...
