Here is a beautiful album with so many melodious songs. Here one can see why Burmanda was the one to beat when it came to melodious tunes. There are innumerable songs in this album to justify such a claim. The top song of the album is "Pawan Diwani". It is such a lovely composition sung with a sweet voice by Lata. Vyjayanti Mala was dazzling with her dance performance matching the brilliance of the music composer, lyricist, and singer. She was absolutely fabulous with her fluid motions of dancing skills and expressions. So beatifully graceful ... I am uploading songs from this album in two back-to-back posts. This film was directed by Adurti Subba Rao of "Milan (1967)" fame. What that means is that this movie also in all probability made from a Telugu film. If it is so I have no clue. May be someone can throw light on this. The same team of LP & Anand Bakshi who worked for "Milan" are back here in this movie for Rao. There are some pretty good songs in this album. Director Vijay Anand took the hit team of Dharamendra & Amitabh who gave "Sholay (1975)" and brought this action packed thriller. Several songs from the film also became popular. It also included a song with both Zeenat and Dharam in buff and a very romantic song between Rekha and Amitabh. One expected that this movie will fly and create all sorts of boxoffice history. Yet it managed to be only a moderate success. I am uploading all songs from an original soundtrack album in two back-to-back posts.
