I really like the high pitch that Noor Jehan often took and the complex emotions she conveyed in Nisar Bazmi's songs. To recall a few gems: chalo achha hua tum bhuul gaye, man mandir ke devta, badi mushkil se hua (Lakhon Mein Ek, 1967), Kuch log ruth kar bhi (Andleeb, 1969), Izhar bhi mushkil hai (Anjuman, 1970), Jo Bacha Tha (Umrao Jaan Ada, 1971), Aaj hai mehfil (Shama Parwana, 1971), Pag Lage Daasi, Man Mein Uthi Nayi Tarang, Jiya Tarpey Naina Barsen, Tan Tohpey Waaruun (Naag Mani, 1971), Mohe kasam hai raam ki (Naya suraj, 1977), etc...... |
