After Nashad's 'Bada Bhai', here is Premnath's 'Bade Bhaiya'. I have, earlier, remarked on how it is impossible to discount the sincerity which permeates Asha Bhosle's renditions in the '50s, though Lata didi may have been the unquestioned queen of song during this period. Hear, for example, this sweet-and-sentimental piece from 'Bade Bhaiya' - does Asha imbue such sentiment in any song she sings today?
