Songs of this movie are in color, film is B/w ,something i found weird about. Thanks Sangeet Bhai. About your observation it was not so strange then. Even Mughal-E-Azam had color for some songs. There was also a movie in which there was a dance sequence on skates and the scene in color was called "Holiday on Ice" but I forget which movie it was. I am sure there must have been many such movies during the transition phase from b/w to color. Binod. धन्यबाद

I am sure there must have been many such movies during the transition phase from b/w to color. Binod. Even Mahipal's Madari had color songs plus I think the ending was in color. In fact quite a few films round that period had parts in color and used "GEVACOLOR" The processing of the film Aasha (1957) tells an international tale. Produced and directed by M VRaman, the black and white processing was done at Famous Cine Laboratory, Tardeo. The colour process was split between Technicolour Process Limited, London -- the spool went through Ramnord Research Laboratories Ltd, Worli -- and Film Centre Tardeo, for the Gevacolor process. The film was partly in B&W, partly in Gevacolor and partly in Technicolor! Music is moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness and a gaiety and life to everything. It is the essence of order and leads to all that is good, true and beautiful..... AND Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life. ~Ludwig van Beethoven
