Ek aur achchhi khabar ye ki 'Gogola' bhi mil gaya hai. Lekin meri uljhan ye hai ki records par MD ka naam 'Rai & Frank ' diya huwa hai. Ravi ka naam nahin hai. Kya Rai=Ravi?

That's a very good news.
My understanding is that this movie's music was composed together by Roy Frank and Ravi or Ravi helped Roy Frank with the composition. I think, Roy Frank was Ravi's assistant for a long time. If the composition is solely credited to Roy Frank, later we can remove the album from Ravi's filmography.

Mujhe nahin lagta ki Gogola ravi ka hai. Album SKS me hai sun kar jo faisla lena hai le lijiyega.

Regarding Gogola's music, a kind member has checked MD name in Geet Kosh.
It lists Roy Frank as the sole MD for this movie; there is no mention of Rai or Ravi in it.
Therefore, I am removing Gogola from Ravi's filmography.

Ravi who came to Bombay in 1950 to be a singer had no formal training in classical music. Yet as a music director he composed some of the most memorable classical songs such as 'Lage na mora jiya, sajana' (Lata/ 'Ghunghat') and' Darshan do Ghanshyam'(Hemant, Sudha, Manna Dey/'Narsi Bhagat'). His song 'Jeevan jyot jale'(Asha) from 'Grihasthi' won him the Sur Singar Samsad award for the best classical song of the year. When he feels lonely Ravi gets lost in listening to the melodious music of the 40s. It never fails to rejuvenate him and inspire him to create something worthwhile.
