Hello Memebers,

I am bussy right know to make a datase of my own collection and i know that
i am having songs of Geeta Dutt (Roy) als (solo's and duets).The one i know
for sure i'm listing it in here.So if anyone wants these songs feel free to ask.

hello prithviraji,
i would put the figure slightly higher-around fifty non-film songs and
forty film songs.
saregama has recently released her 2 cd set containing mostly non-film
songs[around 47 songs].they had also released her bangla film songs cd
containing 22 film songs.
regarding her first banla film,most probably it was samar released in
1950.music was by s d burman.it was also kishore kumar's first bangla
film.
if you are a member of hamaraforum ,you can hear one of her first duets
with kishore kumar from samar which i have uploaded in geeta dutt
subforum.

I have them and will definitely u/l the songs for you if you need them.

On my recent trip to Kolkata I found that Saregama has brought out another non-film Bengali ACD of Geeta Duttji.Though some of the songs in this CD are repetitions of her earlier non-film album("Best Of Geeta Dutt"),most of the songs were released in an ACD for the first time.
