Veteran film-maker Hrishikesh Mukherjee was admitted to a private hospital early on Tuesday.

Mukherjee has not been keeping well for quite some time and was shifted to Leelavati Hospital after he complained of uneasiness, sources said.

He has been put on ventilator and is under observation, they added.

Some of his films include Bandini, Guddie and Milie.

yaar he is among my fav Directors.
Kaya Class direction tha Anand mein. anand/Anari are in my top 10 movies.

Only other director having two or more movies i n my list is Mansoor khan(QSQT JJWS)

bhagwan Hrishikesh da ko theek kar de. I want him to recover fully.

A great director indeed who unfortunately did not try to make any more films after the debacle of "Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate". What a loss it has been to the hindi film industry. However, a minor correction, Bandini was directed by Bimal Roy, HM was working for Bimal Roy at the time, he was the editor of the film if I remember correctly, so technically one cannot club Bandini, Guddi and Mili together.

helllo maam. .......both of these movies are among all time favs of the youth.

If u got doubts.....ask any one .

Pehla nasha is definately among fav of every guy. and QSQT sngs are also v senti and well appreciated by the youth log.

agey se kuch galat nehi bolene ka inn movies ko...........apoon delhi wale bahut gusse wale hote hai.

Hrishikesh Mukherjee a great director in his own right.
If I am not mistaken he assisted the great Bimal Roy. And I am
sure Bimalda would have been proud of the movies HK made. I think
Aanadi was his best and he had planned to make Anand with Raj Kapoor, which ultimatley was made with Rajesh Khanna and Big B.
I can't get tired of watching either of the two movies. He has a long list of good movies but got to mention Anupama, Aasik and Abhiman.
Notice these are only movies starting with 'A'.

Aying. achaa!! tabhi mein kahoo Sadma mein dada kaise. Sadma mein bhi yehi panga hoga.

Dada nei kaise vo scenes( Silky smita) edit kare honge.( ankhe band karke off course )
