Video-clip in Real Media:
Dance sequence picturized on Vyjayanthimala who had to do all the hard work, while Dilip Kumar just had to just stand around and open his mouth to lyp-sync the high notes hit by Rafi-sahab! NOT TO MISS: A beautiful duet with Hemant Kumar from "ARAB KA SAUDAGAR" has been uploaded as Post #12 at: http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?show...&st=0&p=111767& If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Asha-ji usually commences her live-shows with a verse from the Bhagavad Gita:
"Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya, Glaanir Bhavati Bharata, Abhutthaanam Adhharmasya, Tadatmaanam Srijami Aham". (Whenever and wherever there is decay of righteousness, O Bharata, And a rise of unrighteousness then I manifest Myself). In earlier stage performances, she would follow up with this moving devotional from "KAAJAL", beautifully tuned by Ravi and feelingly rendered by Asha-ji. Divya,
It's from V.Shantaram's "Navrang" picturised on Sadhna. Song goes like this : Are ja re hat natkhat , na chhoo re mera ghoonghat , palat ke doongi aaj aisi gali re, mujhe samjho na tum bholi bhali re ... Aaya holi ka tyohar, ude rang ki bauchhar tu hai nar nakhredar matwali re, aaj meethi lage hai teri gali re ...
