Hi friends,

Dil lagakar hum yeh samjhe is a song we are all familiar with. I have been hearing this from childhood and am familiar with only 2 antaras. A few days back Anu mentioned that she has heard a third antara that goes ishq sachha hai agar..... I have never heard such an antara and I dug out all my cds and cassettes and checked all the copies I have of this song--all are with 2 antaras. Can someone throw light on this elusive thrid antara and ul if they have a copy by some miracle.

And yo! Song choppers out there!!!! I will get U one day!!! abuse.gif

I am still breaking my head over aaj ki raat badi shokh badi natkhat hai and the elusive 2nd antara by Asha obviously chopped off for its overt shekshiness. cry.gif

Just checked the song included under CR Golden Collection version, very sorry to find it with 2 antaras only (3.28 mins.) Chekced HCD, it has also time length of (3.28 mins) so 2 antaras only. The third Antra as mentioned by US Rafian Ji is missing in the record version & maybe this is from the film version.

Also second the request for the full song with the last 3 Antra missing as reproduced from US Rafian Ji's above post :

In olden days, songs were recorded twice, one for film(primary Part) & other for distribution to Aakaashvani & Gramophone Co (Secondary Part).
[Secondary part may not be the same as Primary Part.]
Songs which all are having, came from Secondary Part. Same story goes with this song.

Primary Part of the song consists of one mukhda+3 Antras for both – Mahendra as well as Asha version. Third Antra of Mahendra version is..

Aap Ki Raahon Mein Jabase,
Hamane Rakhaa Hai Qadam,
Hamako Ye Mahasuus Hotaa Hai Ki Hain,
Manzil Pe Ham,
Koii Kyaa Jaane Mohabbat Kii Khushii Kyaa Chiiz Hai.

The third Antras in both the versions is missing in secondary part.

To get full song , someone have to acquire VCD of this movie & edit the audio-part of the song to convert in MP3 format.

My hunt for VCD is ON.
