Dear friends,

I had got these songs from HamaraCD a long time ago (& had uploaded them in this forum). They are not in mp3 format. However I can play them in Real Player. Uploading these once again for the benefit of other members.

Music for 'naya andaz', 'raagini' & 'akalmand' is by O P Nayyar. Music for 'asha' is by C Ramchandra.

Regards-Archie.

P.S. I'd be highly obliged if someone can upload/send a personal message of the same songs in an mp3 or wma format.

use a real player or a vlc player...else...give a google search and get a software that converts real media to mp3.

An old favourite from BAHAR (1951) - music of S D Burman - with the young and fresh voice of Kishore

Qusoor aapka huzoor aapka, maera naam leejiye na mere baap ka

Somehow, I had always imagined this song being sung by Kishore Kumar himself on the screen .... but it was not to be - it was picturised on Karan Dewan singing this song to a very young Vyjyayantimala (in her first Hindi film). This is from the DVD of the film.

Enjoy ! gift.gif

Requested by Talaikya on HF radio - this is a really cute duet of Kishore Kumar with Shamshad Begum from the film Ashiana 1952 - with the music of Madan Mohan.
Note the very young voice of Kishore Kumar and the uninhibited singing of Shamshad Begum. I guess, the presence of Kishore Kumar must have helped lighten the mood of his co-singers - esp for such songs !! This song stands out distinctly in a film with many other 'typical' Madan Mohan numbers sung by Lata and Talat Mahmood.

So here's :

O madam, do se ho gaye ek hum ......
O mister, dil ka horn aaj khushi se baaje pum pum

( many thanks to BJ for this song )

Hear the interesting lyrics ... and don't miss Shamshad Begum's kisses after 'papa khush' and 'mama khush' !!
Enjoy!! gift.gif

Taraste hain, tadapte hain, machalte hain - from OPNayyar's 2nd film after Aasmaan (both 1952)

I just unzipped the file (Nain_mila_re_zara__ChamChamaCham_.rar) and it is not a KK song sad1.gif It is a female song.

Though I think it has KK's voice most probably as if talking from behind the radio!

Here's a great one - a song which was brought up earlier by Jagdish on Pg 2 of this thread. A song which is full of Kishore Kumar - tomfoolery, mimicry, starting with indian music moving to some jazz, pop and back, all kinds of sounds, singing on the next octave, pretending to be a violin playing 3 blind mice etc. etc. and ending with a cock-a-doodle doo !!

Excellent composition - made for Kishore Kumar and Kishore Kumar ONLY - by Hemant Kumar, lyrics of Rajinder Krishan. This is a DVD rip from the film Miss Mary 1954. Picturised on the genius himself - who else could do it ?

Gaana na aaya, bajaana na aaya
dilbar ko apna banaana na aaya
