I see that a lot of people here categorize the songs by the singer. I like to organize them by the MD. so I would have put this request in vasant desai forum but unfortunately there isnt one. (ye kaisaa ghor anyaay hai? vasant desai has some of the most melodius tunes in HFM)

anyway, here are my requests. Please u/l if you have these and/or point me to the thread where they may be recently uploaded.

1. merii chhoTiisii bahen - toofan aur diya (with giitaa) (1956)
2. piyaa the kahaaN gayo - toofan aur diya (1956)

I hope someone uploads the "Aashirwad" song. And let me also tag on a request for the *movie version* of "jhir jhir barase" from the same film - it has an unusual feature of "Lata singing a duet with Lata" that is missing from the version released on record/cassette/CD.

Here is the Lata solo from "Aashirwad". I do not have the soundtrack
version of the song that Abhay mentioned. It had stuck in my mind when
I saw the film years back since it was an unusual scenario where the
character sings with a record of a song in her voice. So it has a Lata over
Lata combination which is quite unique. I have not had a chance to get a
hold of the video or DVD since I originally saw the film. So I don't have it.

Now that I re-read Abhay's post again - he mentions that there is a movie version of the song - I am not sure about the version I uploaded - I think it is the audio CD version - which means, the requests still stands...we need the movie version!
